Established in 1992, our swimming program was set up primarily through frustration of a lack of quality program available to swimmers in the North-West of Melbourne. This included extensions to Junior squads and Elite training squads. In the time since, we have established a program operating from four facilities that provides for pre-schoolers through to National level swimmers.

Our background derives from competitive swimming and has a focus on the teaching of all strokes with correct technique and fluency. Our approach is to be amiable and thorough without being overly persistent in developing children before their time. This gentle balance is proven to work in the various levels of squads available.

We believe in small classes in the early stages of development, which has been a fundamental in the success of our Learn to Swim program. As well as their professional credentials, our staff are trained regularly through in-house' sessions which focus on both teaching of swimming and human development. We pride ourselves in recruiting many of our staff from senior swimmers in our squad training programs, so that they can bring their own swim training experience and expertise into their teaching.

Elite Swimming Performance is a registered Swim Australia Centre. All teachers are minimum AUSTSWIM qualified, they undergo police checks and intensive training before they commence working with your child.
